The Ergo Sport maintains the unique features as the standard Ergo Baby Carrier including the ergonomic design, 3 carrying positions, and the versatility of carrying from birth (with the infant insert) to pre-school.
There are two main differences which are a detachable sleeping hood and a split for better ventilation.
The Ergo Sport is made from the softest material ever chosen by Ergo Baby, a blend of 65% cotton 35% polyester makes this carrier lightweight, comfortable and breathable. The cotton/polyester blend wicks away moisture making it cooler than the standard 100% cotton carrier and makes it 20% lighter.
This design is with larger people in mind, especially tall dads who sometimes have a hard time fitting into the regular carrier. In comparison with the standard carrier the straps are 10cm longer and the waist strap is 13cm longer as well as being slightly wider.
